Supporting Student Well-Being Beyond the Classroom

At the Twin Falls School District, we believe in fostering a supportive environment where every student can thrive academically, emotionally, and socially. As part of our commitment to student well-being, we've partnered with BPA Health to offer the K-12 School Well-Being Program. This program is designed to provide comprehensive support to students from kindergarten to 12th grade, as well as their immediate families.

K-12 School Well-Being Program (SWP)

What is SWP?

The k-12 School Well-Being Program or (SWP) is a 100% school-provided benefit at no cost to you. It offers access to personal and confidential counseling and other life resources to students and families in the Twin Falls School District.

This benefit provides support in many areas including a 24/7 Crisis Line, Family & Relationship support, assistance with academic pressures, support with alcohol and drug use, grief counseling, and other community & well-being resources such as legal and financial consultation benefits.

How SWP Works

Access to your free and confidential counseling is easy. Here's how it works:

  1. To get started, simply call, text, or chat with your Service Navigator or submit an online request to BPAHealth.com

  2. After you speak to a service navigator or your request has been submitted, you'll get personalized recommendations for therapists and well-being resources.

  3. Simply, select your therapist and make an appointment.

  4. Your Service Navigator will follow up with you to ensure you're getting exactly what you need.

How to Access Services

BPA Health makes accessing services through the SFAP simple and easy.  A quick phone call to BPA Health to initiate services is the first step.  It’s important to be aware that students who are under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian’s consent to access services before they can be authorized.  The parent or legal guardian will contact BPA Health’s team at 1-833-935-3816 to consent to services and the BPA Health team will take care of the rest including providing a referral to a counselor in the student’s area or to a counselor available for secure, confidential video counseling.

Any minor-aged students contacting BPA Health to access services without a parent or legal guardian available to consent will be referred back to their school counselor so attempts to engage parents/legal guardians for consent to authorize services.

As well, family members of students wishing to access SFAP will contact BPA Health to request and initiate services.  It’s that easy!
